Back in design Lab
I've back in. First of all, I'd like to say thank you to those who gave me many feedbacks and spiritual supports. In the beginning, I didn't expect that people will agree with my topic cause I picked a difficult direction to do research. For those viewers, I'd like to say thank you to you all.
This time, I will keep moving on with this topic with more thoughts and references. More posts will be add soon. In addition, I hope people who interested in what I'm doing could also give me your thoughts or any inspirations. I'd really appreciated that if you did so. Thanks again.

Graphic design is communication. Communication is happening everyday. Language can be the tool. Visual figures could be the platform. Why do people need communication? Because people has different knowledges, likes and dislikes, cultures and family backgrounds. There are so many of societies in this world. People live with the sort of rules and formulas. One day, if you want to convince someone is sitting in front of you, you shouldn't talk about any theory based on culture. Theory comes from researches. Theories could be one of the ways to support your concept. Convincing, persuading and educating is the way to approach your target in terms of business. Then, communication will happen during the talking. Graphic designers need to use a lot of relevant images, symbols and text in order to create successful and efficient talk in a piece of work. Apparently, the process of design should be finished after you finished designing a poster or a website. However, there is a question to myself, should the interaction between your design and audience also need to be concerned? more precisely, should graphic designers put comparison method into design process in order to lead viewers to the right direction which was designed for. It likes right and wrong and true and fault.
Art is abstract, subjective and personal, so does graphic design. After this period of doing research and survey, I found out that the statistic is too vast. I need more time to get the regularity from those mass information, and need more people get involved in this experiment. I think I will refine my question to - How can graphic designers find the right direction of designing a successful piece of work.
meanings Crisscross in crowd.

Meanings can be different if a symbol had been put in different country. My hypothesis was - How do people associate number with colours, genders and personalities. However, most of people do not agree with this idea. I think I have to change my concept a bit.
As the result shows so far, from age 15 to 35, 31 out of 41 people reckon every number has its specific colours. The results of colour section are:
Black is the most chosen colour for number "0".
White is the most chosen colour for number "1".
Blue and yellow are the most chosen colours for number "2".
Yellow is the most chosen colour for number "3".
Red is the most chosen colour for number "4".
Blue and orange are the most chosen colour for number "5".
Green is the most chosen colour for number "6".
Purple is the most chosen colour for number "7".
Gold and Pink are the most chosen colour for number "8".
Silver is the most chosen colour for number "9".
After I had analysised the result from my first survey, I changed some questions in the new survey. I pull out gender and personality sections and put them into new survey as 2 individual sections. Then I got a different result. In the result from second survey, I have a more precise statistic.
15 out of 20 people reckon every number has its specific gender.
Baby is the most chosen gender for number "0".
Man is the most chosen gender for number "1".
Woman is the most chosen gender for number "2".
Boy is the most chosen gender for number "3".
All gender/no gender and girl are the most chosen genders for number "4".
Man and boy are the most chosen genders for number "5".
All genders/no gender and kid are the most chosen genders for number "6".
Man is the most chosen gender for number "7".
Woman is the most chosen gender for number "8".
All genders/no gender is the most chosen gender for number "9".
